5. Distended Veins
Blood clots may be stubborn enough. Then they show themselves by distention or in surface veins in or around the spot where they are forming. If this symptom is not typical of your other body parts and occur only in your legs, then pay great attention to this sign. Distended veins do not lead to problems or complications, but if significant pressure is put by a blood clot, internal ruptures may occur. In this case you will see that redness or bruising intensify.
