3. African Horned Cucumber
Not too many of us have tasted African horned cucumber. This is the oldest fruit on the planet. It was grown by people 3000 years ago. 4. Physalis
Physalis is originally from South America. It belongs to tomato family. Physalis fruits are covered with a transparent husk. The species is smaller than tomatoes. However, its acidity is that of tomatoes. People love the fruit for its sweet taste and special properties that can be used in medicine. Physalis is healthy since it contains lots of iron and vitamins C and B. Due to its multiple medicinal purposes it is used to help people with weak immune system.
