3. Venice
Venice may also disappear beneath the water in the very near future. In the last hundred years the city has sunk about 9 inches. Despite all the effort to prevent the sinking, the government has not yet been too successful in saving the area. Lately the number of tourists has significantly increased since expert say that Venice has only 70 years to live.
