5. Cut off from your past. You cannot start living a new life unless you become brave enough to say ‘goodbye’ to your past. Whether it was good or bad, now it is over. Be grateful for the experience that you’ve gained and all those moments that made you wiser and stronger. Burn the bridges that connect you to your ex-partner. Maybe after a year or so you will maintain some sort of friendship with that person. But for now you need to stay away from someone who was once part of your life.
6. Get serious and concentrate on your present. You can finally focus on creating and building yourself. Your main priority at present is your personality and life. Make yourself a better individual. Try and improve your life in various ways. Develop yourself spiritually and grow intellectually by reading good literature. Currently, you are a free person and you can dedicate plenty of time to studying and learning new stuff as well as taking care of your health.
7. Transform your negative emotions and use that energy to do something positive. Destruction is a negative thing. Instead if destruction you can create something nice. Energy should be productive. This is the healthiest way to keep on living your life after a breakup. Do not try to hide from the world thinking that you need time to restore. Go out, do sports, meet people, paint, dance and practice meditation. You need to distract yourself to feel alive.
