3. You Do Not Weigh Yourself Regularly
We are constantly reminded that being obsessed with the scales is not the right thing to do. Your scales do not always reflect reality. For example, if you are actively do weight training, you might be gaining lean muscle weight and, at the same time, losing fat. However, your scales will be showing weight gain and your clothes will still feel and look looser on you. Some of us believe this rule and do not weigh themselves regularly or do not weigh themselves at all. This tactics is also wrong. Weigh yourself on a regular basis and do not be afraid of possible fluctuations. We suggest you should step on the scale once a week. Know your numbers and keep track of your results so that you could know whether you are doing everything right.
4. Gym Sessions Are Not Intensive Enough
If you are capable of reading a book or a magazine while jumping on the treadmill, it probably means you are doing something wrong. A person who is working out in a gym cannot multitask – you have to concentrate on your exercise in order to understand if it requires the right amount of effort. Sweating while reading? This is hardly possible. Put aside your magazine and stop talking to your gym buddies – do sports instead!
