It cannot be all of your fault. You may be one of the reasons why things went the way they did. But you couldn’t have ruined it all. Analyze the situation step by step and you will understand that there were other people and events that influenced the outcome. Toxic people will try to prove that the fault is all yours.
You are a loser/liar/stupid/hopeless, etc.
Do not be surprised to hear a lot of unpleasant adjectives and nouns that come from toxic people. If you deal with someone jealous or indifferent, they will be likely to use insulting phrases to describe your personality. In their opinion you might be a loser or a liar. Maybe they will say that you are hopeless or stupid. Ignore such people and avoid all sorts of contact with them. Isolate yourself from bad company and stay on your own. Your self-esteem needs peace and quiet now. Solitude is all you need to recover and concentrate. If people cannot make you stronger, then do not listen to them. They are using abusive words and phrases simply because they feel powerless.
